Vietnam Golf Tourism

Vietnam Golf Tourism: The first bulkhead field in Asia opened early in Da Nang and the 19-holes course of Kings Course in Hanoi symbolize the creativity of the Vietnam golf tourism industry in the first months of 2018.

Vietnam Golf Tourism

The opening of these two new golf courses shows that the idea of making Vietnam an ideal destination for golfers is realized. It is undeniable that golf tourism is a sector that has a lot of potential development in Vietnam when we have very favorable natural conditions and the direction of sustainable development of the State. At the Asia Pacific Golfing Conference (APGS) in October 2017 on the theme of new directions for Vietnam golf tourism, Vietnam was elected as one the most attractive golf destination in Asia. This event confirms that it is not the number of golf courses that creates the attraction but it is the creative factor and the unique point that make the Vietnam golf tourism interesting.

To get the "New Direction", we must mention the efforts of golf developers in Vietnam who are continually investing to launch innovative golf products to create a driving force after the success of APGS 2017. A typical example is the first golf course of bulkhead style in the Asian region which will be opened very early in Da Nang. This golf course is designed by Nicklaus Design with the investment of BRG Danang Golf Resort. According to the BRG representative, the design is inspired by the style of the world-class golf courses in Florida and the golf course materials are entirely imported from the United States...

The unique design and white sand beach along the Danang coast will provide an extraordinary experience for golfers. Night golf equipment is available at this golf course to best meet the needs of travelers as well as to provide a unique experience of Vietnam golf tourism as in Asia.
Earlier this year, BRG and Nicklaus Design worked together to turn a 19-hole golf course into reality at the Kings Course. Designed by Nick Nicklaus II (Signature Design), the eldest son of legendary golfer Jack Nicklaus and at the same time the president of Nicklaus Design, this new golf course asserts a distinct level of golf tourism in Asia.

In addition to professional factors, the accommodation of golf travelers is also an extremely important element in the development of Vietnam golf tourism. The need to immerse oneself in nature becomes a strong trend not only in the tourism of convalescence but also in the framework of the daily life. Numerous scientific studies have shown that when you are close to nature, physical and mental health becomes better.

In response to this request, BRG has also opened the Sheraton Grand Da Nang Resort, a prestigious resort for APEC 2017, which is located right next to the Da Nang Golf Course. The Sheraton Grand Hotel Da Nang Resort is elegantly designed with various dining areas and numerous recreational facilities such as a 250-meter long swimming pool and a large 1,267-square-meter conference room. BRG's unique and complementary infrastructure is sure to attract more tourists, contributing to the overall development of Vietnam golf tourism.

Vietnam has a slower starting point in golf tourism compared to other countries in the region, but so far, the country is proud of what it has been able to do and what it will do in the future. Golf course or Kings Course is just two of the many unique products launched in the first years of 2018 in Vietnam. In the future, with the good leadership, creativity and enthusiasm of Vietnamese golfers such as BRG Group... Vietnam has the right to believe that there will be world-class golf products to help maximize the potential for tourism and for that Vietnam golf tourism to become a source of economic development for the country.
